100th Day of School!

Today was the 100th day of school! As you know, we collected cans for the Souper Bowl of Caring. Our class brought in 130 cans!  We also participated in the 100th day pep rally. In class students made a collection of 100 stickers, made a 100th day hat, counted by 10's to 100 on a paper ice cream cone, wrote about what they'd do if they had $100, strug 100 Froot Loops and made a picture of themselves when they're 100 years old. Our room parents, Mrs. Alexander and Mrs. VonBalson were a HUGE help! They even sent in a 100th day snack! What a great day!!

Book Character Dress Up

So many students dressed up for book character dress up day! Mrs. Parfitt and Mrs. Fazio gave students who did not dress a retelling mask so that everyone could participate in the character parade. Take a look at all of our characters!

Vocabulary Dress Up Day

Sorry this didn't make it up earlier. I guess I hit "save" instead of "post." Oops! Anyway, check out all of our costumes on vocabulary dress up day. Mrs. Fazio and I dressed alike and our word was "similar." Unfortunately, we got so busy we forgot to take a picture of ourselves.

Don't worry if your child didn't dress up. We found vocabulary words for every child using the outfits they had on!
